Posting Messages
As a member of the forum, you can post new messages.
The message you'll post could be a reply to the messages
in a particular topic, containing a quote from an other post or not.
How do I display this window?
Before you can post a reply, you need to login or signup first.
Message
Type a clear description as title of the message.
As default, the notation Re <Old Title> is used, which stands for 'reply of <message>'.
Next, you can enter your message.
Becore you post the message, it might be useful to look at the result,
by pressing the 'Preview' button. This is quite useful when you're quoting people,
use markup or smileys.
Smileys
Smileys (or emoticons) are used by many people at the internet to express a fealing or emotion in a part of text.
Mostly the characters ;) and :( are used (rotate your head to the left).
This forum replaced common used smileys by real images, which is much cooler and less difficult to understand.
Those special expressions can be added aswell by pressing the smiley at the special markup toolbar.
Markup
Experienced users might like it to add markup to their posts.
This markup won't be added right away, but codes are being inserted.
These codes will later be replaced by the real markup.
More Info: Markup Samples.
Quoting
While normal messages contain a hit or advise to the messages in general, can also quote something from a previous message.
In this case, you don't press the reply button, but look for the post and press the 'Quote' button,
positioned below the message. The reply you're about the make has already some text in it.
The text that has been inserted is the quoted message and some extra markup codes.
You can short-in the message then, and write your reply below the quoted part (ie. under the [/End of Quote] label)
The result of your quoted message, will be visible when you press the 'Preview' button.
